This video is about the rise of Islam (it's on the rise again) and the evil, despicable Crusades. This is something you will never hear anywhere else. The video was shot by yours truly. Dr. Bill Warner has been examining Islam from a pure scientific point of view. I encourage everyone to view Dr. Warner's other videos as well.

Not sure I agree the Crusades ended 800 years ago. What about the Crimean war over who had the rights to Orthodox Christians? What about the formation of all those countries in the Middle East like Syria, Iraq, Iran et al that were formed up by the League of Nations, Britain and France after WWI from the Ottoman Empire pieces?

What about the formation of Pakistan out of India when the British left? Everyone goes crazy at the thought of a Muslim nation with a nuclear bomb, yet Pakistan has had one for decades now.

And you can't really group all Muslims together either. Sunni, Shi'ite and Sufi all are different in their beliefs and generally can't stand each other any more than the rest of the world. Shi'ite have the highest level of intolerance towards non-Muslims, Sufi are almost totally peaceful, and Sunni can range all the way from respecting Christians and Jews as believers in the Book and respectable to being infidels and deserving of elimination.

Don't forget about dhimmi either, the laws that apply under sharia law to non-muslims. Why would you need certain rights if your only view was to kill them? I'm not saying there aren't some Muslims who believe they should kill all unbelievers of any type, but not all feel this is a correct interpretation of the Qur'an.

It wasn't so long ago that Protestants and Catholics in Ireland were little different than Sunni and Shi'ite are to each other still, and while the Crusades may have ended 800 years ago by that timeline, what about the Spanish Inquisition, or the 30 year war. Christians didn't just fight with others, but with themselves too.

While I can't answer your first paragraph, I do agree with Dr. Warner that the Crusades ended. I caution you towards believing the different groups of muslims and the friendliness towards non-muslims.

In the following Hadith, it clearly specifies the policy of taking non-muslims as friends: "O you who believe! Take not my enemies And your enemies as friends offering them (Your) love even though they have disbelieved in that Truth (i.e. Allah, Prophet Muhammad and this Quran) which has come to you."
      Sahih Bukhari 59:572:1

The difference between the sunnis and the Shi'ites is who is the rightful Caliph after Mohammed died. Aside from that, they follow what Mohammed said and did.

To understand the nature of muslims all you need to know is Mohammed. Was Mohammed a murderous, rampaging warlord in the first 13 years of Islam? No. Why? He and his followers were in the minority. But what happened after he and his kind got kicked out of Medina? He dropped the religion and began his campaign of politics and military conquest. That's when the "convert or die" mind-set began.

Comparing Islam and Christianity is like comparing apples and oranges. It's also a favorite subject of muslims to bring up, especially when you engage them on an intellectual debate about things on Islam which make the muslim uncomfortable. Thus, I will not engage with anyone who wants to compare the past evils of what corrupt morons did in the name of Christianity versus Islam. It keeps the subject of Islam out of discussion. Keep this in mind should you ever want to engage in a debate with a muslim on Islam.

I cut straight to the issue they'd rather avoid: Why are Muslim still killing Christians today? If you ask a muslim, you will never get an answer. They ALWAYS reply with a question back to you about why did Christians kill (fill in the blank)?

Look up taqiyya and kitmon. Read the koran, the Sura, and the Hadith. If you understand Mohammed, you'll understand he is the "perfect" muslim that all muslim men must follow. Notice I didn't say "should". Must.

Concerning Dhimmi Laws. Mohammed just wasn't a warlord, pedophile, necrophiliac, politician and murderer. He also was into money and lots of it. After he killed the last of the 700+ Jewish men in Medina, he realized he could have made money by keeping them as slaves and selling them. That's when he received a "revelation" by allah on dhimmi laws. If you think you wouldn't mind living as a dhimmi, let me know and I'll send you a book on dhimmi laws. Or go to Amazon. The book is small and is not expensive, maybe $8.

Are you not tired of hearing the same old excuses from the Dhimmi Left on why the "extremists" kill? 'Oh, they became self-radicalized.' or 'They're just practicing an extreme-form of Islam' that isn't mainstream Islam (that one is my favorite) After awhile, at some point, you have to start investigating it on your own to discover the truth.

Here's how I approach understanding the subject of Islam: If someone is trying to sell you a car, would you immediately buy it simply because someone said it's great? If someone wanted you to sink a significant amount of money into an investment, would you immediately do it on a whim because you were afraid someone would label you an 'investmentphobe"? I'll bet you wouldn't in either of those situations. Why? Perhaps it's because an intelligent, thinking person would rather investigate the facts about something before committing either lots of money, time and mental energy into any transaction, right?

Why would anyone then, treat looking at Islam any different?

Well, it's Saturday night and I'm signing off. I hope this gives you a greater insight into Islam.

I thought the chart was alarming. However, if we had a chart like that for the roman empire or the British empire, it would also look alarming. also, it's hard for me to get around the Christianity bent. the expert, who I have no doubt is an expert in this area still come at the discussion from a Christian standpoint. I'm supposed to worry about Islam when I can't get fundamentalists to acknowledge there is a scientific basis for evolution? I'm worried about those battles as well. while not in modern times blood thirsty, any departure from reason in culture leads to its eventual demise.
