Cowboy rodeo seems redundant. Why is there a prayer at all? I have been to a couple of rodeos and many, many horse shows and have never heard a prayer spoken. Who Is John Galt?

The prayer is that none of them gets killed, and considering the dangers of rodeo, there is a real possibility of that.

    I have heard that prayer a couple of times at rodeos, but don't know if there is anything standardized about it. Undoubtedly the prayer that none of them gets killed implies a mystical divine protection that Objectivists would disagree with the premise of.
