When science gets co-opted for profit

Taking advantage of the health craze is apparently big business. It's too bad that these devices are junk science.

    But they make for great conversation at parties. For anyone who thinks they are actually accurate I have some Florida land I wish to sell to them. Its a fad, sort of like the "pet rock" craze. Perhaps, in time, they might become more accurate. In the meantime let people spend money as they see fit. I enjoy wearing my Fitbit Force and have not yet been electrocuted by the device.
