I would bet that Cuomo is a supporter of the Clintons. The Obama camp hates the Clintons. Yes, they are both D's, but Party lines don't go near as far as Presidential ambitions. See Warren is in the Obama Camp - which is why she is running against Hillary for the Democratic Presidential nod.

Agreed, Pelosi should have been hauled off as soon as Gruber coughed up how much they lied and manipulated things, yet the saggy ass loser is still there. Proof of the arrogance of power, although the Obamanation is the best example of that.

I mean, Cuomo canceled an earlier investigation into Silver. Holder ordered another. I wonder about Holder's motives, but "since inconsistent premises lead to inconsistent actions, it is not impossible that" Holder may stumble onto a liberating decision.

This seems to be the prevailing theme in society today. Its a great way to undermine rule of law. Are there corrupt cops? Yes. By far they are not the majority and they are weeded out as they are discovered.

This should have happened many, many years ago. Maybe NYS would be a better state!

The problem is that the "they" who have to do the arresting are cops, and most of them are corrupt too.

Instead, how about putting a bounty on corrupt officials and letting any lawyer go after them? It's sure worked well at catching trivial violations of the Americans with Disabilities Act, but unlike those people the crooked politicians and cops will deserve it when they get nailed.

The only difference I can see is that New York state has an Attorney General that (at least sometimes) gives a hoot about corruption by his colleagues. DC doesn't.

As a Jew, what really ticks me off is that the N.Y. Jews who are Democrats by over 70%, continue, for the most part to support Silver. It's enough to make one renounce his religion. Hmmm, wait a minute, I already did that, when I started reading the A.R. polemics.

So long as they auction the stuff off and return it to the people in the form of a tax refund, I am OK with it. If they simply turn over the proceeds to the government, it will A) be wasted and B) be used as another tool of our oppression by funding even more bureaucracy and regulation.

Truth be told, I'd rather have their assets burned in place than turned into even more government spoils.

Even worse is NYC's clown Mayor calling Silver "a man of integrity" - Sickening, to say
    the very least.

Cuomo formed the Moreland Commission to investigate corruption and then quickly disbanded it once they started finding the facts. Stay tuned folks, More to come and I do hope they all fall like the thieves they truly are.

Republican Assemblyman Dan Stec told the Albany Times-Union, "I'm frustrated that it's gone on this long and he continues to have almost unanimous support.

It will stop if they start arresting ALL politicians that are corrupt, seizing their assets and turning it over to the government.
