Well, that beats being forced to donate food. Voluntarily doing so is a great idea.

This has raised the issue of Wal-mart's low pay for its workers, of course. But Wal-mart didn't force anyone to work for them, did they? There's always something else you can do for money. Second job, extra education, that sort of thing. None of those are easy options, but that's kind of the point behind earning it.

I'd argue for higher pay, except that the customer service is consistently terrible. I go into a Wal-mart and I can't even shop because the shelves are constantly being stocked in large portions of the store. When I finally find everything I need, there are 10 people in line at the register and only 2 cashiers open. I'd really rather go to Target--at least they usually have many registers open and you're not falling over giant boxes and tons of store workers stocking shelves.

Anyway, always low prices. Always Wal-mart...
