After hearing this, I thought of a comparison between Robin Hood and Ragnar Danneskjold. Lo and behold, later today I heard Rush Limbaugh bring up Robin Hood.

Kabuki theater. He knows this isn't going anywhere. It is just a distraction from his transgressions and another attempt to make the opposition look greedy in the minds of the useful idiots and media.

This is more funding of my competition, as I am a professor at a private, non-tenure-granting non-community college.

Probably the MOST offensive new tax proposal is funding community colleges with money stolen from the 529 plans of middle-class parents and grandparents who put some of their hard-earned money into these plans to fund their children's education. Wholly unnecessary. Many community college students already get Pell grants from the Feds in addition to free tuition in some states.

Well, let's just say that there's a lot of redistributin' goin' on. And none of it is comin' my way (and I suspect, not yours either). ;-)

Sorry but you got it wrong. There is no redistribution from rich to poor. It is redistribution from rich earners to crony rich and government rich.

The only thing that Mr. Obama has accomplished in his term of office is a spectacular stock and bond market rally. I don't blame him for wanting to crash this party because that is who he is. If he can't convince Congress to tax away those gains, he will destroy them.

You clearly don't understand. Gov't good, rich bad. Redistribution from rich to poor good, private action/property bad. Go back to indoct...sorry, the media, and resume viewing.

Same old rhetoric - same old hogwash. I have yet to see ANY tax law do what the POTUS or Congress says it will do. Define "wealthy" define "middle class". The top ten percent already pay something like 80% of the tax bill. What about the bottom 47% - they don't pay a damn thing so how is this going to help them? This has more to do with crony capitlaism than helping the middle class. If Barry really wants to help the middle class he would "get the hell out of the way."
