You can't handle The Gulch. Were John Galt to walk out of the mist today, you'd clamor to clap him in irons. He appeals as long as he's safely contained on the silver screen for your popcorn pleasure. Don't imagine you're ready for The Gulch, my friend. You're not.

    ok, I can see that. Thanks for the clarification. Perhaps I take things a bit more literal than some. Well I know I do, subtlety is often lost on me. :)

    He is saying there are a lot of posers here. Partisans. Like Paul Ryan...basically people who supposively loved the book and agree with its ideals, but whose actions prove they would turn on Galt in a heartbeat if he was real so they could gain notoriety and power. (My interpretation of this post).

    Huh? Its fiction and fantasy. Particularly since there is no place on earth you could create the gulch.
