Pope Francis: 'You cannot make fun of the faith of others'

I was raised Catholic.
My wife still occasionally practices.
She asked me to go to Christmas Eve mass with her, normally I say yes (pick your battles).

This year I answered something to the effect of:
"I will not set foot in a Catholic church while this piece of crap marxist is pope."

We can't make fun of religion?
Oh, really?

I think that in the near future "Il Papa" will be the subject of another Papa...

    "We can't make fun of religion?"
    I think it's not nice, and makes the person doing it look bad, but it's wrong to say you can't... wrong for free speech reasons and wrong b/c it's insulting to people to say their ideas can't stand up to ridicule.
