But heck it gives those too stupid to actually accept actual forms of protection a warm fuzzy for their efforts in protecting the children.
Proudly produced by common core education!
Hey, how about some science fair / rocket club action with a tennis ball cannon. Could load it with baseballs or cans! Woooweee!
If not, this Principal needs to be fired because they clearly shouldn't be working with children...

I was waiting for someone to make that joke
In fact, several kids nearest to the door would likely receive cracked skulls as a volley of cans pummels the perpetrator like an actor in a B level comedy flick.
Think of all the unintended consequences of these programs!
BTW, in the Soviet Union prior to WWII, the popular saying was that Germany could not possibly attack the SU because there are so many Russians that they they would just throw their hats at the Germans and that would be enough to burry them. I believe that the Soviet production of uniforms closely matched the number killed...
Liberalism is a mental disorder.
A few more things to ponder: Would we have demonstrations against police that used a food can against a criminal not having one of equal caliber? And would convenience stores be considered arms dealers? Would minors be allowed to buy canned food? I think we need to think this over, too many new regulations might have to go into effect. Would these regulations be enforced by ATF or the Department of Agriculture?
Now, what are the rules of engagement? Are the kids allowed to "can to kill" or just wound?
Maybe they should rethink this Orwellian "everyone gets a ribbon" training too!
Couldn't be a sawed-off can... whatever...
