I was so disappointed; I was looking forward to seeing Rob Morrow; did I miss him??

He did. Reardon was well acted in AS1 and AS2, but Morrow was completely wrong so I was pleased he was almost absent.

He was good. He also sounded like he smoked 2 packs a day, witch, now that I think about it is fairly accurate to the real hank rearden

I heard him [Dagny calls him after leaving the Gulch] and saw him [one still of him on the phone, and a very well done part of Galt's rescue]. Maybe you didn't see the rescue?

It's called "suspension of disbelief" when a actor or a set designer or a director gets you to believe something is happening which you know is not actually happening. Morrow achieved this in the rescue scene - I absolutely bought him as Rearden there: competent, focused, great movement, out to achieve an end which he did in fact achieve.
Think about a choice the production team made which you did like and enjoy it.

    Morrow # Reardon.
    Worst casting in history.
Glad he had no role at all.
That was the highlight of AS3.
