To be honest with you I'm not sure what the site is for . If it's for people to come together with common core values. To discuss the book share friendship. simply just to network which are all fine things. As for me I have a great love for this book! I am in underachieving motorcycle mechanic that enjoys my life. Do you know if the air of sarcasm in there and that's because my schoolmates remind me of that fact reminds me of that fact. To my delight that is! I enjoy what I do I'm very happy with my Home life father of three beautiful children! I may not be what everybody wanted me to be! A scientist that works in a laboratory an engineer that create something on paper! The doctor saving lives of people that will only go on to tap the system! No I became a mechanic and do a good honest service for a good honest money!
more worthwhile profession than yours -- freedom

p.s. and congratulations on the family! . I didn't
get any kids in this life. . take good care of them!
I'm a car guy, as a hobby, not a profession, and I think all the time, "what if I had to have this done by 3pm today for a customer", versus, "I'm bored with this for now. I'll leave it for next weekend".
While I'm not a communist (theoretically) thinking mechanics and neurosurgeons should be paid the same, hard working person of any kind should be absolutely proud of their contribution, particularly since their hard work is observable and tangible and serves as an example to many!
and the ever-popular question: by whose definition?

Welcome to the gulch.
We are here to discuss with like minds many topics (one being common core, in fact)...
We have all been brought here through the work of Ayn Rand, but we do not agree on many things...makes for fun interesting debates...
