Galt's Gulch Online is now the most active Objectivist community on the Web with 19,000+ members.

With the propagation of Ayn Rand's ideas as our most fundamental goal, as we fast approach the 20,000 member mark, one of our core missions in 2015 will be to facilitate real-world connections.

We want to not only keep the conversations going, but to help make them even more meaningful, fulfilling and inspiring. We're going to accomplish that, by getting together.

If you're a member of the Gulch, go to your profile now, tell us - and everyone else in the Gulch -- a little about yourself and... where you are.

In the coming weeks we will be releasing some exciting new features here in the Gulch to make find each other and connecting easier then ever. You are of course in complete control over how much information you share publicly in the Gulch, but do make sure to put at least a state in your public profile so other members in your area may have the opportunity to reach out.

Holy cow! I had no idea! Maybe I should be far more serious about what I post.
And with that many of us, you know we're being watched. So maybe I better watch what I write.
Hello, Big Brother. Go %&#@ yourself!
And the Marxist horse you rode in on.
Moo! That's me making my holy cow impression.

I wonder whether we could do what the Islamists in Europe have done -- set up an enclave for ourselves as a "no go" zone in which only Rand's Law applies.

This is probably the best single legacy of the Atlas Shrugged movie series: a community that can find a mission beyond drumming up attendance and sales.

I am not an Objectivist, but I do study it. And I'm glad to be part of a community that seeks to apply it to real-world situations. Things have come a long way since Harry Binswanger's Objectivist Forum days.

Scott: If this is going to become another Objectivist only enclave, I'm out.

I would advise you not to take the Naming of Names too seriously Robbie. One of the apparent advantages of this list has been its 'big umbrella' appeal. Many different perspectives on personal freedom and financial responsibility are present here.
