I did.
Without Islamic civilization we would not have copies, for example, of Aristotle's works. They were not preserved in the west. And in fact, the first major western uses of them (Maimonides and Thomas Aquinas) were using versions acquired from the Muslim world.
Nobody has mentioned my communist party connections either. Of course there are none and that's why nobody has mentioned them. But I just did what he did in your first clip.
The second clip is an entire series of quotes taken completely out of context.
I do not support the man. I wish he were not president. I think that, like any politician, if his lips are moving he's playing with the truth. However, if we are to be the side of reason then we should not base our judgments upon other peoples' manipulations of the truth either.

Is Obama lying or these clips?
It is a disturbing trend going on for 30 years to bash things American, with the thought that by saying something bad about your own country or country's products you both strengthen your argument in some altruistic way and separately elevate yourself.
Obama and Warren appeal strongly to these idiots. We need more candidates to stand up and assert that the effect of the US on the world is overwhelmingly positive!
