Several years ago I did some work with a lady who is a special-needs education advocate. That is somebody who informs school disctricts of the law (they act stupid) and helps parents of special-needs children get the aid that tax payers are paying for. The districts got tired of dealing with her and took away her three children. For me, that was a life-changing experience.

Some idiots think homeschooling is abuse..... it makes them mad and they want to see them fail. And so does the gov. Painting them in a bad light, even falsely, sends a message. Conform or else.

You are correct. If the State can come in and take children and nothing happens - it is over, folks. That's all she wrote. They have broken the people.

I understand that somebody "turned them in" for having it (even though it's not illegal).

Not sure. The theory is they upset the wrong people and law enforcement went in looking for something to justify actions against them.

$5Au thinks there is something amiss with this story. How did government officials know these folks had this mineral supplement in the first place? And why did they care?

Clearly. Thugs and kidnappers. What is wrong with these law enforcement people anyway?
