Franken - the disingenuous

Here's a toady that did the emperors bidding at every turn, but now as re-election looms on the horizon, starts to try to distance himself. Hopefully the electors in MN will see through this, but I doubt it.

Franken has come a long way from the days he used to follow Pat Buchanan around the country trying to disrupt the latter's campaign appearances. As far as $5Au is aware, Buchanan was too classy to reciprocate during Franken's whistle-stops.

I have seen Franken interviewed and I think he is pure scum. Like any Progressive he can't be honest about his intentions.

Franken kept running a TV ad about how he helped a family who had a mother die from peanut butter salmonella poisoning. That is pretty much all he would talk about because apparently it was his greatest accomplishment. Any person, even a politician regardless of party affiliation would do that. It had nothing to do with his policies or his plans for the country of course. Pure emotional propaganda.

Hey, we are not ALL idiots lol, I voted for McFadden. Normally I would vote for the Libertarian, but I really did not want Franken to win this one. Alas, us thinking Minnesotans are in the minority now.

Yeah, 312 illegals. Not too hard to find that many.

I've gotta say, I spent a good deal of time in MN last year, and didn't hear much about the race. Just did a little research and see that the primary didn't occur until Aug, and then it was moderately contested, so McFadden wasn't able to focus on Franken until late.
From what I read, McFadden is a self made man, who did so in the business world. Of course, that is evil, and entertainment is "good."

According to the administration regarding Weiss "he has spent some time thinking about some of the issues that the president believes are critically important"

Dammit, so have I. That makes me just as qualified as the nominee according to those who defend Weiss in the administraion.

Looks like a good shrug job to me.

It was a low key race for some reason. I'm guessing the challenger ran a bad campaign. Franken had to steal the first election from Norm Coleman so I thought sure he would lose this time around.

My mistake, you are correct that he just won this past Nov. Proving that the voters in MN really are idiots (and some of them even relatives).

Al Franken is an idiot. Not surprised he is teaming up with Elizabeth Warren. She is also an idiot. Franken did just win re-election so I think this highlights more the rift between moderate and extreme left wing Democrats. Should be fun to watch.
