It is beginning to sound increasingly...contrived.

A nasty cycle that takes little "fuel". Reminds me of Ireland.

I cannot logically explain it...but my Spidy sense is tingling. St Louis is hardly the 'heartland of terror riots' - and these incidents are piling up on top of each other. Perhaps it is just coincidence and my human brain is trying to see patterns where none exist.

I'm thinking that if they (Obama and Holder) can start trouble in the heartland then the fire burns out toward the coasts.
The coasts are pre-primed and already smoldering.
It's the typical Communist tactic of attack from above and beneath. In the military it is called a flanking maneuver or a pincher move. Fortunately if you see it ahead of time you can defend yourself.

Yeah. That is more specific than I was thinking, but it does seem important that this is happening in St Louis, and that there are repeat iterations.

I am still not sure whether or not my human mind is seeing patterns where there are none...maybe I will be casting bones next, or reading chicken entrails...

              LOL!
You are definitely seeing patterns. I see them as well.

So either we are on to something,...or we are both going bonkers...sigh.

"The future is cloudy. Try again later."

I am sorting through the specs on the top ten or so solar companies, however, as 'having an independent power source' is increasing in importance.

From news reports all over the country, it appears that the far-left (e.g. communists) and the anarchists are using one another to further the cause of destroying the country from within. Some have suggested that marshal-law is the goal, and I've been hesitant to go there (I'm not COMPLETELY paranoid, after all) but it is clear that a concerted effort to tear apart the fabric of civil society is ongoing.

What is so difficult about complying with an police officer? If one feels being taken advantage of, or being treated unfairly, one has recourse in several very well known ways. Every single event being demonstrated against could have been avoided by that simple rule.

This may be a case of unintended consequences. The extremist element that is now in charge of the Democrat party seems to have over-leveraged the latent hostility of one of its special interest groups, and it could blow up in their face. At some point, the media that has so painfully twisted reality in favor of progressive radicalism will have to turn in another direction or lose its audience. Contrived outrage can only go so far before society demands it cease. This could have nasty consequences for the Democrats in the 2016 elections.

One can only hope that the objective among Americans look at this situation with an eye toward truth and understanding. Otherwise, the issue will spiral out of control until all those involved in it destroy each other.

What I wrote on the comments of the news article is as follows: "I am sorry for the young man but he was the one stupid enough to pull out his gun and point it at a police officer. When are these thugs going to grow up and learn the lessons. Rioting and demonstrations don't cut it and all they do is destroy other people's property, which harms the community. Learn the rules and follow them. How is that so hard? Whites generally do it, Latinos do it, Asians do it, why don't you? If you act like a thug, you will treated as a thug and that reflects on others of the race. If you act civilized then you will be treated accordingly. It is not something that can affected overnight, it takes time to unwind the things that have happened in the past but what has happened is no excuse for what is happening now."

From what I saw, this shooting was justified--I don't know about the stop. But this is where the mix of racist nonsense juxtaposed on the problem of police brutality confuses the issue.

This reaction won't help either issue.

Comrade citizens, get ready for Comrade Grinch to eat your Christmas and your country too.
Did you really think reason is for this season?
We of the collective rejoice that now our useful idiots have gotten so out of control that they demand that white cops must let themselves get shot to prove they aren't racist.
Ho! Ho! Ho! Stick all of our gargantuan hatred into your Christmas Jeer and smoke it.
Merry chaos, Amerika lovers, and a crappy New Year.
We of the collective certainly hope to turn Year 2015 into a war zone.
On the bright side, we have a Marxist alternative for you stupid and clueless little peons.

Anyone questioning officers' right to defend themselves is not seeking justice and has no argument to offer. What these "protestors" want is what Ismaaiyl Brinsley accomplished in words and deed for them. “The Foot You Step On Today," Brinsley wrote on Facebook before he murdered 2 NYC police officers, "Could Be Connected To The Ass You May Have To Kiss Tomorrow.” That is precisely what Sharpton and his ilk want. And to know who da baby father on Maury

Scum bags like this get shot on a regular basis, it's just that it gets reported now. The crux of the problem here is that our president and the Attorney General are fomenting race hatred as a matter of national policy.. if the president gets involved in things like this at all it is supposed to be to calm the situation down not rev it up. just another fine example of the total incompitance of the Obama administration exacerbated by the useful idiots in the popular press. I'm sorry to sound so trite in this post but that is situation we are faced with.

This is the result of letting the protesters control the street. When you have protests you should do it the way Bernie Kerick and Giuliani the former team in NYC always did. You allow protests where you say and when you say, at no other time, and you keep the Fire Engines handy, in 50 degree weather a mist of water will calm the most unruly mob.

Yes, not good. I think this stems from real problems with policing, but the problems in no way justify people attacking or pointing guns at police officers. My long-term approach would be to have *very* few laws rigidly enforced by people from the community where they're being enforced. We've instead had a huge number of things illegal, with those laws arbitrarily enforced. We have a mess.
