A definition that uses the word it's defining is weak, at best. A leader protects the people he's leading? How does that work?
He stands up for his people? Like, when they come into a room? Seriously though, how does THAT work?
"etc" should never be used in a definition. It means that you don't know what to say.
You may try again if you like for a good definition, but I'll warn you that I don't even believe that the concept is valid.

Personally, I don't want my government to lead me anywhere. All I want from my government is to protect my right to live as I choose, my liberty and my pursuit of happiness as I envision it. :) I certainly know Obama is not that kind of leader. As for Netanyahu, I know so little about him that I am not qualified to answer based on my values

Someone who project confidence in themselves, protects the people he/she leads, etc. I see that in Netanyahu standing up for his people against Hamas. Obama has NOT projected that confidence of leadership. He has been, and continues to be, the apologist of all the "wrongs" of the United States of America.

sorry, YNGH, I don't evaluate things if I don't understand the terms. How do you define "leadership"?
