I had no idea this was even a thing - combining two works of fiction into one? I've never been a fan of Harry Potter but this short story was so much fun to read!

    lol I totally bet Eddie Willers is a squib. I want to know more but... looks like it was published in 2010. And no more chapters since.

    No limits to fanfic... For decades Paramount refused to sanction works with new love interests outside of the canon - Scotty and Nurse Chapel, to make something up; though Kirk Loves Spock was very very very common in fandom. Now with the new universe, we have Spock and Uhura, so the Party Line on that changed.

    As for the crossovers, I would have to research this a bit, but I am not surprised. Our favorite local comic store, Dragon's Lair, is hosting an artist for signings and I was going to go. Now I will go, just to query the staff about crossovers.

    BTW: "Philosopher's Stone" was the ENGLISH title. That was deemed two esoteric for Americans and we got the SORCERER'S Stone.
