North Korea's internet is having serious problems | The Verge

Maybe we are in a cyberwar with the Munchkin land, though if China provided the resources to do the Sony hack, then we could end up in one with them which may not be so good, it could end up in a MAD scenario where both sides bring each other to a standstill. But something like this has been brewing, since cyber war and terrorism have been developing over the last few years. Is there such a thing as a digital bunker? Maybe they can just block anything from specific IP addresses. Though if you have teams or some way to mask a connection, you are in deep doo.

Keep your kerosene-fueled hurricane lamps handy. Also: do you own a manual typewriter?

Nope. But I do have a generator and gas. But we may need to retreat to the gulch if the loons trash the web, our glorious Obamanation has forgotten how reliant we are now on it.And of course, if Sony can't protect themselves, do you think silly crap like nuclear plants and banking are any better? Don't play with fire... Although there is speculation China did it to them to show them who is boss and to yank their chain. That is very possible.
