Ok, this is highly off color but terribly funny! What were the painters thinking!?

The baby is and will remain an endearing portrait. It was wise of them to leave it in sketch form.

that's why both Rand and Robert Heinlein liked cats. You can make them do things [like go to the vet] but you're gonna have to work for it. They only keep us around because we have thumbs.

I've been burning the midnight oil. :-). And painting a room in my house. Making my life interesting before Christmas and company arrives. 😜

I agree. I miss my big dog with the loud bark, a big smile and the waggly tail. Cats might be the ultimate Objectivist. They don't do anything not in their own rational self interest.

Cats can be so superior! What attitude! Independent they are. laudable. Not much of a deterrent for home protection though... Nothing like a big dumb dog that barks ferociously at the tax assessor. :)

Obviously an inner city pooch - she knows how to "assume the position" and get frisked.

She might be tough competition for NMA.

If she wasn't so damned hairy, she might actually be cute (the pooch, not NMA ;-)
