Atlas Shrugged Part 3 to Begin Principal Photography Fall 2013

Los Angeles, CA - March 26, 2013 - Today, Atlas Productions, LLC officially announced that “Atlas Shrugged Part 3”, the third and final installment of the Atlas Shrugged movie trilogy, has been officially greenlit with principal photography to begin later this year.

The movie trilogy follows the three-part structure of Ayn Rand’s epic 1957 novel, ATLAS SHRUGGED. Atlas Shrugged Part 3 takes place in a near future dystopian United States with the nation's economy quickly approaching collapse. While overreaching government regulations persist in strangling the country's few remaining entrepreneurs, society’s most productive continue to mysteriously disappear. One man has the answer. Some will stop at nothing to control him. Others will stop at nothing to save him. Who is John Galt?

The producers have tapped four time Emmy® award-winner, Duncan Scott as the film’s screenwriter along with Brian O’Toole. Long before working on Atlas Shrugged Part 2, Scott worked extensively with Ayn Rand on the restoration and editing of the classic motion picture “We the Living”, based on Rand’s novel of the same title.

“We’re thrilled to have Duncan and Brian back. Having sat shoulder-to-shoulder with Rand, no one else could do what Duncan can when it comes to adapting Atlas. His unmatched experience and his incredible depth of knowledge regarding Atlas are absolutely invaluable,” stated Producer John Aglialoro.

Aglialoro’s company produced and distributed Parts 1 and 2, and has set a USA theatrical release for Part 3 in the Summer of 2014. Parts 1 and 2 are now available on DVD, BluRay and are available for internet download.

Producer Harmon Kaslow said, “Our number one goal with Part 3 is to pull the prescient message of Atlas off of the page and project it clearly onto the screen. Ayn Rand drew incredibly sharp archetypes with stark backdrops. Our goal with Part 3 is to bring these characters to life as accurately as possible and celebrate Rand’s message.”

From JG's lips to the ears of the nation... if they have the will to listen, and the intelligence to understand...

I'm not so concerned with the movie, I have been waiting since 1968 for a real John Galt to stop the engines of this world.

Dwight Sanders, driving his Hammond Roadster, arrives at the sight of the recently-arrived plane that carried Dagny to the Valley. He gets out of the car, his head engineer in tow. The pair walk slowly around the impact-disected vintage Sanders Nightfalcon 400 now laying on the valley floor, exchanging brief comments... Fists on hips, and looking over the wreckage, he says to himself...

"Ummm... Too bad Hank hasn't struck yet... this is a job for Rearden Metal. Guess we'll have to resort to titanium, inferior as it may be. Probably about a week... Maybe 5 days if the weather holds." He looks up the valley floor, then talks into a communicator on his wrist. "John... yeah, Dwight. Know that jet adaptation to your motor we were talking about... Yeah, 2 of them... End of the week, sooner would be better... Cost no object, of course, Dagny will make good on it. Thanks." Smiling, the pair head back off to the factory hangar, passing a large flatbed truck going out to collect the aircraft...

    Of course not.
But even great minds like that can't do everything.
That plane was far beyond repair.
Salvage was the best option for that wreck.

I just got a call from a "pain-in-the-ass" telemarketer about investing in a movie... I have incredibly mixed feelings about it if it might have been about Part III.

Unfortunately, the phone guy was either incredibly tight lipped or he was totally clueless as to the production or the people involved.

Please dear God, please let them recast John Galt. Please don't let it be D.B. Sweeney. Please give us a REAL John Galt.

    I read the novel.
That plane was supposed to be later repaired and returned.
But seeing the condition of the plane in that crash, I don't see any way it is going to be repaired.

    This is great news.
Since this is the part that reveals all of the mysteries that have been going on during Parts I and II [the disappearances, the silhouetted John Galt, the destruction of Wyatt Oil and D'Ancona Copper, the purpose of John Galt and Atlantis, etc.], I am expecting big things from Part III (even more so than Parts I and II).
I can easily predict that Zero is not going to like it [and that's a good thing].

However, I want them to do a better job of gathering the fan videos for the Atlas Shrugged Part III Blu-rays and DVDs.
Since they didn't include the video I sent them for the Part II Blu-rays and DVDs, I will be furious with them if I don't make it into Part III's Blu-rays and DVDs.

Perhaps the money would be best spent on the poor? Maybe an overpaid teacher, or a federal union worker? Maybe the money should be given to United Nations members so they can spend the money in Geneva whore houses and gentalmen clubs? Maybe the money should be thrown into the black hole of California to toss at the labor unions in some mythical "fair share" attempt.

Or this production team can spend $10 million on a message against those things so that slowly over many years, all the guilty parties involved above can correct their behavior before its too late.................which I think is already present. Spend the money on Atlas III or have it taken by the government like Cyprus is attempting to do. At least the money will go to a good cause with Atlas III instead of just being stolen without anything produced as a result but the temperary appeasment of the masses.
