If anyone desires to see an example of purely evil intent successfully disguised as a beneficial endeavor, the Federal Reserve is that example. It marched the country's economic system into the torture chamber with the general public pleading to get hit with the whip again. I doubt that the Republican legislature in power next year can rise to the level of eliminating the Fed because it has dozens of manifestations like tentacles that must be eliminated before it can get to the beast itself.

as I see it, when they have succeeded in demolishing the world economy then they will have all of the worthless paper money that they will burn to keep warm in 55 gallon drums on wall street. as Ayn Rand has pointed out, when a country stops producing as we are then it crumbles as can be seen in the history of many countries and we have given up producing product here not idiots, we have them in spades.

What scares the hell out of me wiggys......when the "Fed" calls all the "notes" and we, the majority of the enslaved, [(! believe !)] they are "entitled"!! (The turn-over of real property through the ignorance of our collective lives.)

    freedom for all,

many thanks for posting this video. It furthered my knowledge of the fed way beyond what I knew.
Do you think it could be put on pbs?
In my opinion as I have noted one who kills someone spends about 7 years in prison on average, while one who conducts any transaction that beats the government out of money because taxes are not paid can spend a lifetime in jail; i.e. smoking grass that you bought on the street as we know. I certainly will not live long enough to see the eventual revolution. A gain thank you.

Thanks FFA! My father was a devout liberal thinker until I sent him The Creature From Jeckyll Island. This is going to cement the change.

"Posterity, you will never know how much it cost the
present generation to preserve your freedom. I hope you
will make good use of it. If you do not, I shall repent
in heaven that ever I took half the pains to preserve it."

I wish the teachers at public schools in Glynn County, GA, were wise enough (and rebellious enough) to teach history from the Creature. But I had to learn about it more or less independently, albeit with the urging of those who I now respect for their advice.

I don't normally have time to view an hour-and-a-half video. But this one will get a bookmark.

I still can't understand why Alan Greenspan did not move to run the Fed out of business when he became head of its Board of Governors.

Folks, like all things, make the effort to search:
    "Federal Reserve"+conspiracy+debunked
and read what the sites say.

    Look at all sides.
Surely, truth seekers cannot begrudge you that. That is all I am suggesting - look at ALL sides.

Believe whatever propaganda you wish. Reality speaks louder than propaganda. The fed is a cartel that loots from everyone else and they make loans from funds that they neither earned nor have in hand. They do in fact create it from nothing, they charge interest on it, and only they can do so.

I always find it funny that "truth seekers" with a conspiracy theory always have to refer to differing opinions as "propaganda" or worse. They're unable to deal with disagreement as equals.

Very revealing, that. Knew someone would be unable to leave such a simple, common sense wisdom alone and have to try to insult the very idea of "looking at all sides".

        Conspiracy groupies can't help themselves.

My mind is open to the facts. The definition of conspiracy is a surreptitious plan formulated by two or more persons. By that very definition the fed is a conspiracy. Their plans are secret and they refuse to reveal them while the people have been led to believe (propaganda) that the fed exists to prevent instability in the economic system. Every boom and bust in the past century has been caused by the fed/ banking cartel's credit policies, and the prime beneficiary of every bust has been the banking cartel. It is a well planned confidence game. If you can refute the facts I have posted then do so with your rational argument and facts.

            conspiracy |kənˈspirəsē|
            noun (pl. conspiracies)
a secret plan by a group to do something unlawful or harmful: a conspiracy to destroy the government.
            • the action of plotting or conspiring: they were cleared of conspiracy to pervert the course of justice.

Your definition is from which dictionary?
You forget the negative connotation of "conspiracy".

WE have a LOT of state secrets. We'd be fools to reveal them.

You haven't presented any facts. You've presented accusations. There is a difference. Facts are established pieces of data where anyone can check the veracity of the fact.

You've accused the banks, the Fed, and not presented a single fact.

That you don't know the difference is suggestive of the very problem I refer to: conspiracy theorists don't care about facts - they jump from accusation to accusation without facts because they seem to fit their world view, and even if debunked never acknowledge the debunking, but run to the next accusation.

Not a way for reasoning people to spend a day.
So unless you know the difference between facts and accusations, we're done here.

Facts don't have to be trumpeted by mass media to be facts. The video that started this topic covers a lot of the facts. I have studied finance and economics, and have more than 20 years experience in that field.
"When I see things, I see them."
              We disagree. We are done.

Like I said, always revealing to see conspiracy theorists disagree when it comes to one simple suggestion:

Folks, look at all the sides.
                Type in:
(the name of the conspiracy theory)+debunked

My personal opinion: The only thing at the bottom of the rabbit's hole of most conspiracies is rabbit pellets and those who think eating them will make them larger than they are (apologies to Lewis Carroll and Alice).

As to an appeal to authority you just attempted, make that thirty years of experience and family in the Treasury Department, classes in banking, formal logic, symbolic logic and enough sense to know that all the experience in the world doesn't trump the facts.

Go check out all sides, folks. Educate yourselves rather than going through life with a knee-jerk reaction to debunking of your treasured ideas.

Truth seeking must first involve NOT getting personally attached to your theories so that you can look at all sides with equanimity.

We NEED conspiracy theorists. The keep actual efforts to conspire at a minimum - they are watchdogs on our safety, even if they bark at squirrels and neighbors - would you want them silenced? I wouldn't.

Just look at all sides rather than joining your dog barking at a squirrel.

Not that hard. Certainly no reason to disagree, but I guess some will always see the squirrel as the bad guy; and sometimes, the dog's companion will see the bad guy as a squirrel, of course.

                ALL sides.
                FIRST: Official, primary sources.
                SECOND: Debunking sites.
                THIRD: Conspiracy sites.

Read all in that order and you'll save yourself tons of confusion.
Add a logic course and you're home free.
                Keep speaking up, everyone.

It's always interesting to see that those accusing others of being conspiracy theorists rarely actually respond with anything refuting the so-called conspiracy theory. Instead, they use ad hominem attacks and ridicule as distraction and misdirection. They may suggest that you look at "all sides" in innocent fairness, while they initially only suggest reading sites that supposedly debunk the so-called conspiracy theory in question. They also suggest that official sources are the highest priority, giving the impression that other non-official sources are inferior. Whistle blowers aren't as trustworthy as politicians, bureaucrats, IRS agents, or others with a vested interest in maintaining the staus quo. Eventually they may even admit they actually don't believe most so-called conspiracy theories because proponents (and whistle blowers) are merely barking at squirrels and chasing after rabbit pellets.

I guess some never see past the propaganda because they are too personally attached to official sources to be able to make a rational judgement based on all the data from all relevant sources.

                    1) Didn't accuse anyone of being a conspiracy theorist - spoke generally, as you are.
                    2) Why refute? You're the one who got defensive as if I said you were wrong. ALL I said was read all sides and you've gotten all defensive - that's revealing.
                    3) ad hominem attacks? That's terrible - name one I've used. Your insinuation that I have is simply dishonest. Ridicule? Of course - if you yourself cannot see the silliness of many conspiracy theories that in itself is revealing.
                    4) Distraction and misdirection?
See folks, how "Read all sides" gets such a person riled up and angry? If that doesn't reveal how confused they are, how attached they are to their ideas, nothing will. And YOU are the one who revealed out, publicly. Your choice.
                    5) Oh, I make no pretense: I think your behavior is loony - you're the one who threw a tizzy fit about my simple suggestion.

You just couldn't help yourself, could you?

                    6) "suggest reading sites that supposedly debunk the so-called conspiracy theory in question" - No, dear, that's what you do. I suggested they read all of them.
                    7) "They also suggest that official sources are the highest priority" - All I did was say read it first. You're the one saying one takes priority. Didn't you go to college? You go to PRIMARY SOURCES FIRST, hon. Are you suggesting otherwise? That derivative sources, secondary sources are primary? That's just silly. ANY educated individual will tell you - go to the primary sources. I think you are confusing that with "government" sources - NOT what I said.
                    8) "Whistle blowers aren't as trustworthy as politicians, bureaucrats, IRS agents, or others with a vested interest in maintaining the status quo."
I said this? Talk about discussions in your head, you must be having a doozy with someone other than me. Kindly don't include imaginary discussions and try to stuff them in my mouth. I said nothing of the kind and AGAIN you are dishonest to pretend I did.
                    9) Eventually they may even admit they actually don't believe most so-called conspiracy theories because proponents (and whistle blowers) are merely barking at squirrels and chasing after rabbit pellets.
OMGOODNESS, how DARE I think that way.
Yes, I consider most such silly even if such individuals serve a purpose. Goodness, try to throw someone a bone... .

You revealed yourself. I did nothing but suggest people look at all sides and STILL you whine.
Really, is this REALLY how you want to present yourself publicly?
DO you REALLY want to project your limitations on me?
I say read them all and you keep pretending I say "official sources" all you wish. It's all in your head, and dishonest, but that's your baggage.

Pretend all of us who read all sides aren't rational.

We have our own opinion about those who get all defensive because we suggest reading sides OTHER than yours.

I'll leave you at that. I doubt you recognize or can take responsibility for how rudely you've behaved to such a simple suggestion. Last word yours. Read it carefully, folks - he'll reveal his level of ethics perfectly. Some people can't help themselves.
