Is it just me who wonders why this came out two weeks after the midterm elections?

In the words of Arte Johnson, "Verrry interesting." I wonder how much redaction will be possible, or will we get the real skinny.

This is what happens when the government decides it can command the people instead of the other way. They might have well said “we got no stinking e-mails”, but of course they have and now they have been found. Of course no one in the IRS will be held responsible for their false claim that the e-mails are lost forever.

I would like to know about collusion with several Dem Senators. Schummer, Durbin, Reid. I think they were pressuring the IRS along with the WH.

Anybody who did not know EVERY email could easily be recovered has not spent any time in the IT world.

Between the WORM drives, the duplicated to backup inboxes, the backup servers, the daily, weekly, monthly and yearly backups that have to retained for years, that are ALL retrievable is proof positive that this administration is as transparent as the Los Angeles Phone book and the American people have been stonewalled by the Media and politicians trying to save the reputation of the Whitehouse, not just for Obama for the integrity of any president to follow. Sadly, we need to not only impeach this president but set a precedent by having him charged with the Crimes he is guilty of.

I'm still trying to wrap my mind around this revelation. So now they found them. Now let's hope they didn't scrub them first.

I assumed their motto was the words on the building: "Taxes are what we pay for a civilized society"

Every supposed scandal about President Obama I hear sounds like a political reach except for this one. For some reason this smells to me like there was something crooked going on. I'm glad they're investigating it.

Kevin D Williamson of NRO had an excellent article yesterday about government agencies and their mottoes.

He pointed out that the IRS doesn't have a motto.
He suggested that the first line of Catullus' sixteenth carmina might work.

I'll leave it for all of you to research that.

    I agree with Williamson.
Maybe the street artist Sabo will take his idea and run with it.
