Have you fired a Firestar 9mm? I have had mine since the early 90s and really like it. It is designed for a smaller hand though.(no longer in production)

actually, I have been looking for a decent small carry piece. This is cheap enough that if I don't like it that's ok.. I have a pt1911 already and it has been a pretty good workhorse.. I had already been thinking of picking up another pt1911 in 9mm for IDPA, between that and this I would still only be at half the cost of another GSR..

Interesting. I don't like the make it inoperable system. The price seems about right.
