D-Day vs Healthcare website

I got this in an e-mail this morning and thought it was interesting.

"Putting things in perspective: March 21st 2010 to October 1 2013 is 3 years, 6 months, 10 days. December 7, 1941 to May 8, 1945 is 3 years, 5 months, 1 day. What this means is that in the time we were attacked at Pearl Harbor to the day Germany surrendered is not enough time for this progressive federal government to build a working webpage. Mobilization of millions, building tens of thousands of tanks, planes, jeeps, subs, cruisers, destroyers, torpedoes, millions upon millions of guns, bombs, ammo, etc. Turning the tide in North Africa, Invading Italy, D-Day, Battle of the Bulge, Race to Berlin - all while we were also fighting the Japanese in the Pacific!! And in that amount of time - this administration can't build a working webpage."

It was meant to make a mess of things... turmoil. If you make promised to people in turmoil they're easier to manipulate because they're desperate. It's not just healthcare... our economy, the unraveling of our military, food banks are supposed to run out of food at the end of the month... I think they're trying to start riots.

    Sure does.

Only 7 years, 9 months, 9 days later, Neil Armstrong takes a small step.

Now we worry about getting somebody else pay to get Dr. Welby to shove his finger up our bums every six months.

Anyone care to cite the words on the plaque sitting *to this day* in the Tranquil Sea... WITHOUT Googling?

The Saturn V rocket that carried men to the moon was the most powerful engine ever made... and we can't make it today.

They tried destroying the plans for it when they began developing the shuttle program, which itself was crippled by the efforts of Walter "Toohey" Mondale.

And the 22nd of this month will be the 50th anniversary of JFK's assassination. How far we've fallen in only 50 short years.

I hadn't thought of this way but the more I consider what it must have taken to defeat Germany the more depressed I get. I am starting to think this(the website) wasn't meant to work. Actually, I hope it was meant NOT to work.
