What makes Bankers more dishonest?

I would postulate that it is the extreme level of regulation. If it isn't regulated, the feeling would seem to be that it is OK. And if it is regulated, and you can get away with cheating, that seems to be OK as well.

    I'm always skeptical of these types of studies. They mention that people in other professions don't show a propensity to lie more when emphasizing their profession, as it allegedly was for bankers. However, they did not report the absolute levels of dishonesty of other professions compared to bankers. Plus, the small sample size inherently has a fairly large margin of error on any results...
