    I feel like the small guns almost pop out of my hands. I do not care for small handguns.

    Soft grips would make one even more comfortable.

    I prefer the .45 personally. Carried it for a lot of years.

    Interesting article.

    To the points they raised, I have always stuck with heavier weapons, they are far more comfortable to shoot.

    Too small a weapon also has fit issues with big hands. So in addition to higher recoil from the same round from the lighter weight, it doesn't fit your hand so that adds to the felt recoil.

    I noticed they mentioned the 1911s in there as a nice one to shoot. I agree, and they are large framed for large hands. If you want one for concealed carry, you can go with a shorter frame using a double stack magazine to retain the large hand fit, in a much easier to conceal overall size.
