The only difference between Democrats and Republicans are slight adjustments in the relative shares of government sugar for each parties' crony parasites. You may want to adjust your portfolios, increasing your defense and intelligence contractor exposure, perhaps cutting back a little on medical and insurance companies that have done well since the passage of Obamacare. Just remember, any differences between the two parties will be adjusted by the usual Washington compromise: increased spending for both parties' government teat-suckers! Anybody who actually believes that by the next election, either the Welfare state or the Warfare/Intelligence state will be any smaller or less powerful than they are now should be involuntary committed, for the protection of the rest of us.
