Wow, we must really be getting to them.
Total intentional misrepresentation of Rand and Objectivism.
But, as Gandhi said, "First they ignore you, then they laugh at you, then they fight you, then you win."

Then you win.

I've been accused of being one of the biggest "Randroids" out there by most of my friends / family, but even I found this HILARIOUS! Especially the part about being too long, and at the end how she's doing the shifty-eye thing like on the Mike Wallace interview.

It's funny because it's not true, it's a grossly exaggerated parody. Don't take it seriously.

Think of it this way: free publicity. I discovered Rand because of all the negative press about her in the mid-2000s, and decided to investigate for myself to see if she really was the bogey man people were claiming she was. Who knows ... we may gain a few people from this.

I found it annoying and stopped it after the too long comment. Call me humorless I guess.

Well said Kathy... I thought it was funny but then, I love gratuitous violence! The end was priceless!

"Humor is not an unconditional virtue; its moral character depends on its object. To laugh at the contemptible, is a virtue; to laugh at the good, is a hideous vice. Too often, humor is used as the camouflage of moral cowardice."
    Rand, Romantic Manifesto.
    you lose a point. :)

You are right, we must be getting to them. Waiting for the fight..... Although some important points are brought out, it is a misrepresentation of Ayn and did you catch the racist comment .. the gun to defend yourself against the socialist and the black people... is this propaganda for gun rights? or no bran cereal? or altruism? or the tea party? Educated liberals ? At least they took care of the lazy people... but Ayn would have said, Now come at me with your stupidity so I can prove you wrong, not with a gun, but with a brain, with reason.

Funny yes.Unfortunately many believe, and some propagate, the many falsehoods. But for self defense, Rand and Gandhi held very similar positions on the use of force. The parody is a reflection of the prevalent false propaganda.
