        It's healing up all wrong. Not a good idea. (Pretty sure the GW shoppers aren't too curious...considering how some of them look. But hey, maybe it will help keep them out of my way.)

  Skin which has just been tattooed needs to be heavily moisturized, usually with petroleum jelly, so that it heals faster.
  
  I think Ayn would think tattooing was self-mutilation for the sake of tribal identity.

    Self mutilation is the first words that popped into my head as well...but I didn't have the guts to say it (so instead I made up some junk about carving my forehead....?) Thanks for putting it out there Eud!
