We should immediately launch a scientific study to determine the ages of all elected officials.

In other news, I wonder how these scientists define "creature?" There are many living entities on Earth that are older than 507, some plants and some fungi among them.

I had thought that a Galapagos tortoise by Charles Darwin was still alive, but according to Wikipedia, "Adwaita, who died in 2006 at the estimated age of 255." Hmmm, only twice as old as the oldest human.

Score another victory for the State Science Institute and the People's Scientists, opening up the great mysteries of life and death!

(Of course, they were probably hoping for a pearl to appease the great leader, so he could give it to Michelle...)

Government scientists kill things and kill people. That's why the government hires them. Kill, kill, kill. They probably all stood around in their white lab coats with their bellys sticking out patting each other on the back after killing it.

When that clam was young, Columbus had just discovered the New World only 14 years earlier.

Galileo wasn't to be born for another 57 years.
Leonardo Da Vinci was still alive.
    Copernicus was in his 30s.
Gutenberg had been dead for 38 years.
Queen Elisabeth I had not yet ascended the throne of England.

And Michelangelo Buonarroti (the original Howard Roark) had just begun the ceiling of the Sistine Chapel...

    Way to go, scientists.
