Students are NOT allowed to bring knives to school. That's the rule. Stick to the point.

My sister in law just said if her son went to that school she would pull him out until the parents of this kid were told he couldn't bring it on school grounds. The parents have to step up here.

Well..the rules SAY he has to keep that thing covered up. (they also say he can't have a knife, but it's been blessed or some shit so it's okay now)... My husband said today, "It's like the planet of the apes or something... everything is upside down."

No. I'll find a Sikh kid with a kirpan to do it.

Why is the principle allowing it and why aren't the parents protesting? God FORBID we offend anyone!

The Constitution is my religious document. My 2nd amendment/firearm is part of my religion... some animals ARE more equal...

So if it is covered up by his clothing the students are not in danger? How stupid. What if this kid is a nutcase? What if another kid who is a nutcase gets it off of him? Zero tolerance for weapons and separation of church and state. No way those things should be allowed in schools.
