I think that is an excellent idea. It is the true story of what happened at 20th Century Motors.

A friend was at my home last night who has a security service in Detroit. He is doing quite well. Colman Young was the beginning of the end. All that is described in AS is what happened in Detroit. I live forty miles from the city and watched it collapse for the last forty years. Columbus Ohio is bigger than Detroit in population. It will take at least four generations to reverse the trends, assuming it is still around.

An important read, especially for our progressive friends; not that they are capable or prepared to acknowledge the statist cause and effect axiom that's driven Detroit to its knees. LeDuff, an X Gray Lady employer, with no ideological axe to grind, sums it up prophetically - 'It is about a government that destroys people - -'

I drive through that hell every Summer... I don't think I want to read about it.... seeing it is bad enough. Makes my skin crawl. I once took pictures...and when I got home I looked at them and deleted them...it's THAT creepy.

seriously, this sounds like a good book. but the article is so well-written, I hope the author of the book doesn't disappoint.

LeDuff is accurate but too late. Once, a long long time ago, I thought my proximity to Detroit would be beneficial for my metal working business. Sad.
