Good afternoon. I run my own web site devoted to conservative and "Tea Party"-sympathetic writings. I studied Objectivism extensively, beginning during my junior year at Yale College.

By the time of the first Tea Party rallies, I realized that my fellow voters had elected "Mr. Thompson" in Barack Obama. He, in turn, hired quite a rogues' gallery. And some of my friends believe that the "code of the looters" is about to collapse *without* the kind of organized strike that John Galt called.

I don't expect to agree with everything that everyone here presents. Specifically, I see no reason to abandon Christianity. But I will say this: the version of Christianity that (until recently) the "looters" have propounded, and propounded in Ayn Rand's day, is monumentally distorted. Notice that today's looters have abandoned all pretense at propounding anything like Christian ethics. And *real* Christians will have nothing to do with the "looters."
