Back in the mid-80's I recall riding with my young family at night and my future ex-wife pointing at a blood moon and saying that the earth would end. Now we've decades later had several blood moons without Jesus coming back or the antichrist rearing his head, unless you want to count Obama.
The Biblical key to a moon finally for fatally turning to blood is the sun also getting into the act.

Pretty creepy, even though it's a completely explainable occurrence. What is interesting is the timing of the blood moons both very recently and in the next year or so. Compare to Jewish calendar.

Caught this and every "super" moon while under sail. No one wanted to accompany me this morn....temps in the mid-30's
