Also thought to be a smarty and write, "Beam me up, drago" and thought better of http://it.it. Oops, I DID write that. That was before I took a second look at the two workers walking along with that huge beam of rusty old looking metal on their shoulders.
After me the dino considered that sight for a brief moment, all me the dino could say was "Damn!"
Not all that sure if I was seeing any truth there or not.
So far, every time I give Trump room to be Trump.
And I accept he likely has "more and/or better" information/details than I have...
I keep realizing he makes ROUGHLY the same decisions I would make.
He's still the BEST President of my lifetime by a LONG distance. (Reagan, My #2, gave CA to the dems with Amnesty, and did not break the public unions, and gave us the vaccine act that has our kids getting like 80 doses of medicines without any liability while we are more allergic to everything).
While I am NOT thrilled about Iran War. Consider ONE Thought.
This was PLANNED out when we started bombing the cartels drug boats.
Renaming the Gulf of America. Cutting off Cuba, cutting off China from getting ultra cheap oil.
Proving that China's Military defense systems (which were supposed to be on-par with the USA) were not even close. Meanwhile, EVERYONE in energy was screaming that if this was not over by July/August, we would be facing a complete shutdown, planes would stop flying.
I refuse to be so arrogant that I Can know what someone else is thinking.
That said. His meme coin was STUPID and scarred many people.
The optics over BiBi are terrible.
But he did NOT lose hundreds or thousands of military, which I commend.
Finally, SI has the opportunity, like Musk Suggested, to quadruple our GDP.
(And Using it often, it augments humans, I don't think it replaces them any time soon).
So, when I hear all of this FUD about AI will kill us all... It's BS.
AI can handle TASKS. Not "jobs". It still needs direction... Lots of it.
The definitive example is Trump’s abrupt pivot to war against Iran. For a decade, he built his movement on an anti-interventionist, “America First” platform, promising an end to “endless wars.” By launching an expensive, high-casualty conflict, he fractured his own base. When loyal MAGA standard-bearers like Tucker Carlson, Megyn Kelly, and Alex Jones criticized the war, he attempted no principled defense. He blasted them on Truth Social as “nut jobs” and “losers.”‘
You sir sound fully vaxxed and brainwashed resulting in a strong case of TDS. If you want to hang your hat with talking heads who have never accomplished anything but spreading psyops and fear mongering. Actors….. let’s call them. All tied to the farm. The deep state lost the central control of oil with Iran and Venezuela . Watch OPEC crumble , and the petroleum dollars weaponization rendered moot. The fear premium of terrorist oil interruption the City of London created and profited from is gone! By the way in terms of our so called National Debt , FRAUD… fraud vitiates everything.
Both sides are fake.
Both sides are created and kept divided by people behind the scenes who fund, control and direct both the ‘Liberal’ and the ‘Conservative’ ‘news’ outlets.
Team Propaganda Victims #1 [Team Blue] and Team Propaganda Victims #2 [Team Red] are carefully kept at constant war with each other. The American people are kept divided because this robs them of a great deal of their power, which derives from their UNITY, not their divisions.
. Trump is FANTASTIC at forcing us all to see what people like Will, Kristol, Buckley, Ann Coulter, etc. always were. They were fooling us. But they can’t do that any longer:
His former national security advisor, John Bolton, summed it up: “He has no philosophy. He has no grand strategy. It is all transactional, all a matter of the moment, all driven by a desire for adulation and an inability to accept any limits on his power.”
You have lost any credibility with me …they are losers and intelligent assets and worse.
I wish that our debt was headline news every day.
I do share at least one idea with WDonway- a profound admiration for the civilization and culture of Persia (now named Iran), one of our planet's oldest. It was rich and powerful at the time of Athens and Sparta, and a major barrier to the expansion of Rome. Soon after Western Rome collapsed, Persia crumbled before militant Islam, somehow the culture survived, unfortunately absorbing the fatalism decay and sloth of its neighbors. Perhaps there was a glimmer of revival under the Shah, but then came the regime of the Mullahs.
This regime has characterized itself with barbarity. Tens of thousands of Iranians slaughtered in the streets, widespread secret police and torture, and worldwide support for terror. On top of all that, the determined effort to develop nuclear weapons.
But now there is Trump, the only serious opposition, not just with condemnation and insult but actual military action.
Go Trump!
A potentially parallel take -- so long as the Taylor Swift Economy keeps chugging along ... the act of croaking on air will be a widely accepted performative gesture indicating that everything is functioning as designed. When the sound of a barking dog is replaced by the scent of cooking meat, I will be encouraged in knowing that Taylor has left the building. I am actually looking forward that day as I am in my 60s and making preparations for the long, cold, hard, winter.
