Last week I read that Disney was making or releasing some flick with a bunch of satanic stuff in it. Didn't even halfway study it at all. Just shook my head and moved on somewhere else.

I loved Spin and Marty. My girlfriends and I had a crush on Spin.
It’s terrible what the Disney organization has become. It’s a wonder that they haven’t made Mickey Mouse trans do he can race on the same team as Minnie Mouse. But then give them time.

Same and agreed. My brothers and I watched the Mickey Mouse Club faithfully. We liked the mini shows like Spin and Marty doing stuff on the Triple R ranch. A few years ago when I had access to the Disney Channel I went to watch the Spin and Marty pilot episode and was greeted by a disclaimer warning the program I was about to watch was a legacy production and may not be up to today's standards of inclusivity blah-blah-blah. It was a groveling apology the program had so many white guys that were not evil, stupid, or gay and didn't have the correct mix of people of color. Of course the country was 80% white people when these were made, but modern Disney couldn't help taking a slap at the folks that made it rich and successful. That type of crap is what made me pull the plug on Disney in my life. Sigh.

I loved the Mickey Mouse Club as a kid, too. What good wholesome fun it was.

The Mayo Clinic really got a big chuckle out of me. My husband’s name was Mayo. He ran for a county position one time. His slogan was, “Don’t forget the Mayo.” He won.
