Amen
Would love to have a coffee (or beer) with you sometime.
The lesson we should have learned from COVID and especially from its so-called vaccines is that the medical industry is not about making or keeping you healthy. It is to develop and spread diseases so that it can get paid for treating them, over as long a time as possible. (It also has plenty of "scientists" like Bill Gates who would like to see most of the world dead.) The Wuhan facility was and is a bio-weapons lab, and we're lucky that COVID got accidentally released before it was made as potent as the developers intended.
Rand advocated reason, logic, and the scientific method. None of which is the same thing as accepting whatever the credentialed class tells us as fact. The environmental movement should have already taught us for all time never to trust organizations like the State Science Institute.
We affect others in many ways, but few of those are substantial. Meanwhile, we have lots of intended, voluntary interactions that we benefit from immensely.
That's my point. Say you infect someone and make them sick. If you meant to do so, that's especially bad, but that you did so is a rights violation whether you meant to or not.
I have no hope that our society will learn anything on this. Opinions and politics are dug in like a tick. Did you know that almost nobody needs a tetanus shot since the automobile was invented? If you don’t know why, you’re in a huge club. Did you know that very few who get polio ever show any symptoms? That’s something worth studying, IMO. Did you ever wonder why areas with open sewers struggle with polio while countries with backflow prevention and chlorinated pools don’t? Here’s my personal favorite…Did you notice that AFL (the modern polio-like, really scary paralysis) almost exclusively affects 5 and 6 year olds at the beginning of kindergarten and 1st grade. Of course you don’t. The news is silent on that one.
Best wishes…
"...but anyone who infects another intentionally is committing a violation of that person's rights." There, fixed it.
Got the COVID vaccine and still got COVID, because it isn’t a real vaccine, and who cares about COVID? It is a silly flu.
So what is the point? Smallpox, measles and polio are almost gone. That is good. Anecdotes are stupid. Attempting to spread ignorance is bad, but common. More common among the left, but here we’re are spewing nonsense from TX.
That you may choose does not mean it is wise or good to choose irrationally. You may choose to be a heavy gambler, but reason would not advise that.
The irrational anti-vaccine movement is now starting to cause serious harm.
This is Galt's Gulch, inspired by Ayn Rand's work. Rand advocated rationality.
Then, natural selection will once again begin determining the future of mankind.
Measles deaths are rising in the US now thanks to all the anti-vaccine ideology.
So stop cheering for what kiils people.
We were never bothered with any of them again!
