I'm probably going to be on a government list

If one day in the near future I disappear, it's because Big Brother has finally put my head in the cage with the rats. I will miss everyone here; for years, The Gulch has been a place I've thoroughly enjoyed sharing with all of you.
I just mailed a letter to Janelle Bynum (D, OR-5) regarding one of her comments following yesterday's Silver Rail Elementary School shooting. If you disagree with my opinion on abortion, that's fine. Just understand that the blatant and utter hypocrisy of this woman pushed me to the point where enough was enough.
She has consistently voted against any restriction on abortion or punishment of abortion providers. In 2024, according to reproductivefreedomforall.org, she was a perfect 4/4 on her votes.
But in the aftermath of that school shooting yesterday, she had the balls to walk up to a microphone and say "When are we going to step up and say enough of killing our babies?"
It was more than I could take sitting down. Someone needs to call her out for talking out of both sides of her face. And I'm just the idiot to do it.
Hopefully I'll be around for a long time, but if not, this will probably be why.

Because of that....I'm pretty sure I'll be next to you eventually - head in rat cage. I hope you're here with us long into the future. Soon, FWIW, forums like this will probably empty out due to new surveillance regulations coming our way. When that happens all here can be proud that we had a good run.| Permalink

- 1Posted by $ hjc4604 1 week, 4 days agoI'm sure with all the AI available now that multiple government agencies are compiling lists of things to prosecute each of us for in the event that we actually cause them some grief. They're happy to just sit back and let the computers compile lists for potential action in the future, since reportedly, we all commit at least 3 felonies a day without even knowing it.| Permalink
