We of the latter group have yet find a way to permanently escape the predatory impulses of the controllers. Any Rand’s Galt’s Gulch was a Utopian, impractical solution, simple because, she did not know how to have her heroes project their sense of life and love of life and accomplishment onto future generations.
Even the controller’s numerous attempts of a Utopian one planet, one government with total domination of Earth’s human population come apart because, as you wrote in a recent post, individuals can decide not to have children. Would they next ranch women on birthing farms?
We humans just have not figured out how to keep something going beyond a few hundred or a few thousand years. Will we ever?
