I think Whitney Webb explains it the best. A long time ago, our government made a deal with organized crime. They demanded more than a seat at the table. The ultimately got their fingers in the government, and grew the Deep State and shaped it.
They knew the biggest secret:

When she described it that way. EVERYTHING made sense to me. The coordinated attacks on Trump... But ALSO why the BLM riots in DC in 2016 resulted in OUR GOVERNMENT cutting BLM Checks, and settling out of court.
