Like what is called "the American pancake," Aunt Jemima was the invention (if not is) a freed slave named Nancy Green~~not a slur "cooked up" (forgive the pun) by segregationists as libtards trained us to believe.

Here also is the real story about Uncle Ben. Me dino born during 1947 grew up in Deep South Alabama since age 4.
Neither of these characters all that time seen on grocery store boxes ever struck me dino as a slur against black people.
Strikes me from reading the included article about Uncle Ben that the murder of George Floyd got "panties in a wad" for a bunch of grown men.

My well-to-do father often hired a black maid named Nell Smith.
She did some cooking, house cleaning and and a lot of baby sitter for me and four younger brothers who just plain loved her.
Her presence in our home spanned both George Wallace styled segregation and beyond all that crap.

A very delightful set this week, OUC! Thank you! I know the golden in the first one has to be my son's dog. She knows how to delete a cookie in a split second, LOL. Hey, I've had those corn dogs - yummy! I'll be looking for faces in my Guinness or IPA. Oh, the racing pie is awesome, LOL!

        With "Flock" cams on the hyway and everywhere else, haven't had a chance to see how close to 160 it will get. There is no mention of governors anywhere.
        I'll have to find out at Lime Rock raceway.
        
        I didn't buy it to go fast, but it does, so why not go for it?

        Back when I was young(er) on an open road had the Jag to an indicated 140 - and had pedal left, but the car was floating - seemed like it was only touching the road every once in a while.....

        My Z car was the same way, front end got light at 130, had to put on an air foil.
        The mini has an airdam style lower front end with an extension under that. At speed it sucks the front end down.

        "Getting light" is the best way to describe the Jag - did not modify it at all but always thought that with that straight 6 4.2L going up the front it would have stayed on the road. And it really held well to the road - until about 120 or so... And then the grip just seemed to go away.
        Handling at that point got .... interesting. But up to that point you felt you had total control.

        Tire tech is a lot better these days, 200 mile per hour plus grippy tires are found on the Mustang GTD and other hyper cars.
        I ran Michelins on the z with koni shocks and 1 inch stabilizer bars.
        The mini needs that with much bigger brake rotors inside the 17 inch wheels.

        The Flock cameras - there is only one way out of town where the cameras do not capture the plate. And it is not a straight line. But there is only one '69 Jag for several counties, and even more counties when it is a red one....so would not be too hard to find!

        OK - as much as I would like to use a 60's muscle car, am going to go with one of the ones in my garage - 1969 Jaguar XKE 4.2 straight 6 - and the original carbs and exhaust. Will have to have both pipes kicking out the trim......

Okay. I get "the car in the pie" one now. The key word to make the mental association was "childish", as I remember an older teen "doing doughnuts" or "cutting cookies" in the empty, grassy local stadium parking lot. Being of engineering mindset, i asked myself "What is the purpose of this?"
