Me dino was hardly a full-grown kid when I bought and read Edith Hamilton's "Mythology" and deeply enjoyed reading all those tall tales ancient people believed in. I therefore can relate why the titan (minor god) fire-giver Prometheus has become the symbol of the new Promethean movement.
Prometheus stole and gave fire to the humans who Zeus hated. Prometheus punished by having his liver eaten daily, I have this day imagined Donald Trump as the Heracles (Greek for the Roman Hercules) who has set a modern Prometheus free from his shackles.

In this venue it makes sense to look up Ayn Rand's Objective Theory of Value. The usual debate is between those who believe value to be intrinsic and those who say it's subjective. Rand asks, "Of value to whom? And for what purpose?"
