Sorry, Trump has dicked this up

Trump held almost all the cards, except the RINO scum McConnell, et al. And he could have even brought some of these parasites along, by not just holding a sparkler and screaming "I am in charge and can do anything I want" at every press event.

By attacking Iran, with a weak plan, and being ignorant to the obvuous fact that the country would not support him in a new war, he accomplished little, drove up fuel costs, and virtually ensured both houses would go to the Democrats in November.

He did NOT have to do this to accomplish what we or he needed. If he KNEW we needed to act on Iran (again after destroying their nuclear bunkers), he should have brought some group of people along, and gotten Congressional support.

Yes, Iran needs to go. It and Hamas are cultures that need to be documented as human poison, and expunged from the world. He did not accomplish this, and probably has no chance of doing so now. His mouth wrote a check our butt won't (but can easily) cash.

Trump, and his boy Hegseth, have doomed 2027/28 to a democrat Congress, and likely 2029 to a Democrat POTUS, and at least one new communist SCOTUS judge.

I see zero defense of him in this. His trailer-trash blustering went too far.

Frankly....All there is to see IS correlation. Right? The timing of those things I observed....I think "temporal" is the term. Haha. It got strange. The last time I heard reporters ask Bondi about Jeffy she didn't hesitate. Just came back with, "Look at the stock market..." It was downright strange. Maybe (big maybe) we'll get clarity on this. But, it will likely go the way of UFOs, aliens, JFK, and vaccine safety....just into the memory hole. (I shouldn't laugh...but what else can we do?)

As I've said many times....When you have causation you have correlation.

Could be. I’m not sure I see the correlation, but could be. In any case, our boy screwed us.

When we were rattling the war sabers over Iran I kept saying, "Iran isn't Iraq". In fact...I think Iraq existed because Iran allowed it to. I'm not international expert. But I have plenty of Persian friends who have talked with me about their home country over the years and I came to understand that they are a military force vs an easy mark.

With all this I see I'm not the only one who thinks this current election will be pivotal. I know...we need to get rid of judges, etc.

I know this flew under most people's radar...But, when Bongino, Patel, and Bondi did their 180 on Epstein followed closely by Trump's "we're still talking about this guy?"...Many say that was nothing. But, it correlated perfectly with Trump going from an anti-war president to calling for war. For Israel's enemy neighbor. At the same time he resumed sending weapons and cash to Ukraine. I'm sorry....but, I don't think that's all circumstance. Call me crazy, but I think the the Epstein honeypot operation has a hell of a lot more consequence than people are giving it credit for. I always thought that how we addressed that whole p e d o operation would say a ton about our future. Well....how's it looking? Yeah. There it is... I think back on when I was a little kid and my mom gave me the lecture about doing bad things and having to deal with the consequences...

I agree, political suffering. As I put in the post, we will lose both houses and very likely lose POTUS in 2028. This will VERY likely give the demonrats at least one more SCOTUS judge, which will be devastating to the Constitution.

That is the consequence of dumb-ass’s decision.

Do you mean political "suffering" or economic "suffering"?
When I consider the economic "suffering", I compare it to what nearly everyone
had to endure in the depression or in WW2. In those terms it's actually asking
people to make rational choices, instead of pretending that economic slowdowns
never occur. (Not getting a new cellphone this year because gas prices are higher
    is a rational choice.)
Is stopping Iran from threatening the entire world with nuclear/economic destruction
worth some changes in my consumption (assuming the goal is reached)?
For me the answer is yes, even if Trump's advisors understated/underestimated the difficulty.

On political "suffering", I was "suffering" worse than today from 1989 through 2024.
I still think that D.C. is the source of most problems, and NIFO may still be the best solution.
That said, I haven't written off the mid-terms nor written off an acceptable deal with Iran either.

Well after Oct 7th, I have no issue putting down the dog that stirs Middle East unrest without additional cause, but you have to be ready and able to finish what you start.

Either way, Trump failed and we suffer.

Agree, but he didn't have the backing to get to the end zone. Bit off more than he could chew, and we all suffer.

The only way that I (as POTUS) would have agreed to attack Iran (as was done) is if I had
irrefutable proof that not doing so would result in destruction of western civilization, and
loss of all the freedoms that western civilization (supposedly) defends.
