Or California - you cannot leave California out of the list of China, Vietnam, North Korea, Iran.....
And Dino, now that I am thinking about it, there are probably other locations here (USA) .....

Indeed. However the problem lies in Zinn's view of American history being so quickly and widely accepted within academia and then pushed onto students. Zinn's bad seeds were sown on fertile corrupted ground already in existence.

Disclaimer: I have not read Zinn's work, but have read many critiques and listened to various discussions on radio and TV and formed my opinions from them. I won't pay much for Zinn's book, but am willing to pay a buck or two at a used book store just to check it out myself.

Communist Howard Zinn's "A People's History of the United States" came out in 1980 and corrupted at least two generations of history majors. A version for younger students was released in 2007. These textbooks have been in common use across the US, and very likely influenced AOC, Mamdani, et al, and their followers.

I don't think the problem is convincing history majors to support socialism/communism but the problem is there really aren't any young people that are learning anything about history whatsoever.

Up until now, it never occurred to me dino that history majors would represent the hardest group of Americans for the current communist political movement to win over.
It only took a moment of thought before it next occurred to me dino that depended on just who was teaching any kind of "history" to any this or that group of students
Think about how history~~particularly American history~~is currently being taught in China, Vietnam, North Korea, Cuba or in Iran.

Great edition, OUC! I really like the way the first three series lead up to a great closer in their final panel. One hit wonders have me smiling this evening, too! Thank you for the work, OUC!
