I kinda want to apologize to everyone in The Gulch for something I did. This place has been such a welcome addition to my life; there’s an incredible amount of comfort knowing I’m not the only one who sees the world the way I do. I almost feel like I betrayed the spirit present here for a brief time.

I read this article on Fox News: “ 'The View' dismisses more young men turning to religion as part of 'manosphere'”. (I got a vasectomy 35 years ago, and I think the collective IQ of everyone on The View is lower than my sperm count.)

The short version is that these numbskulls think that the only reason young men would want to turn (or re-turn) to conservatism and religion is to go back to a society where men rule and women obey. Yes, you read that right. That’s the only reason that these airheads can think of for men to turn conservative and religious.

My initial thought was that this group of douchebags on The View should be taken off the air immediately and permanently banned from EVER coming in contact again with a microphone.

Then I realized that I was just as bad as the Libtards: Censor and remove speech you don’t like.

Free speech is completely self-explanatory; it doesn’t mean “as long as it agrees with my perspective”. One has to respect ALL speech, not just SOME speech in order for free speech to exist.

And I’m ashamed to admit that I lost sight of that this morning. I’m okay now, but it’s a bit humbling to know just how easy it is to try and shut down the other side.
