So, today I was introduced to a term and learned a lot about another I knew very little about. Are others here up on these terms? Good friend called me and we spoke about a book he's reading, "The New Economics of Technocracy - You Will Own Nothing", by Patrick Wood. Then, I listened to a podcast interview of Mr. Wood to learn more about this concept. Pretty scary. It's an enemy we aren't really intellectually/politically prepared to defeat. This is because one of its founding premises is that government is a non-issue other than being a hindrance to technocracy, and will be done away with. Political sides don't matter. There's a new paradigm for Americans. Tokenization is the method by which they'll take away our property rights (my opinion)...how we'll end up owning nothing. This morning a headline described something somewhat related/similar in a story about Mayor Mamdani wanting to parse out landlords' properties and dole it out to the poor renters. Of course that will destroy real estate...but, what does he care? Property has successfully be stolen if he does it.
