Absolutely horrifying, ghastly, but necessary to keep the record straight. Hamas launched perhaps the most depraved, sadistic attack of modern times. Israel's subsequent attack was wholly justified. Israel had not been attacked militarily, Hamas, backed by Iran, had demonstrated its conviction that Israelis were sub-subhuman and their death, rape, torture was the will of Allah. Iran never protested. If Iran EVER gets control of Israel, this is the fate of the Jewish people. This is the hideous face of Islamism.

    @WDonway I will take the opposite side of the argument.
    This went SO BADLY that it feels like a False Flag.
    IDF response times measured in hours?
    Parachutes SEEN, but NOT intercepted?

    Look, I took the stance. "After Oct 7th, Hamas EARNED whatever beating they get!"

    But my position has shifted, because "reality" seems to have shifted.
    Let's Compare Oct 7th to the "Pre-emptive" strike of Iran by Israel...

    In fact, let's LABEL Oct 7th as a Pre-emptive Hamas Strike on Israel...

    And we would all say that Israels response made "Perfect Sense!".

    What would that give Iran Permission to do to Israel for "Their Preemptive Strike".
    Just using the same logic?

    When I was growing up. I've NEVER heard of the USA or Israel "Being the first to violate a ceasefire. NEVER!".

    Recently, I've not only heard of it, I've seen it. And I've witnessed the USA requesting to talk to specific people, and start negotiating. ONLY to have Israel BOMB those very people.

    I push back... NOT because of Israel, Jews, Islam...
    I push back... Because SOMETHING has changed. And I feel we are being manipulated.

    I wish we did not go after Iran.
    I wish 100% of all Israel funding was stopped. They have betrayed us too many times.

    In the meantime. I will support whatever decisions President Trump makes...
    Because I believe he has more information than I have, and I believe he has America's
    best interest at heart.

    I can only think of one thing when reading of these atrocities against the women and children. Pure evil. I've heard it said a few times over the past couple years, "Earth is Satan's domain." Now, I get it.

    Islamic barbarity continues into the 21st century. History shows it only slows down or stops when it receives a strong kick in the teeth from its victims or potential victims.

    Usually, my reaction to anything that gang (NYT, etc) claims is laughter, from Israel trained lizards which detect 'atomic waves' and so locate nuclear weapons plants, to instructing rats to pollute homes in Gaza, but condolences to the leftists who appear to believe that stuff.
    There was a time when NYT claimed to be 'the paper of record'.
    Could have been correct, but long ago.

    But how to take the descriptions of barbarism of Oct 2014?
    The biggest source of info are the vids taken by the Hamas perpetrators themselves, they were boasting. The NYT chooses to discard only this major source of evidence.
