Why so much media coverage?

Maybe I'm missing something, but can anyone tell me why Savannah Guthrie's missing mom has been the lead story on foxnews.com for the past 10 days or so? I guarantee that if my mom went missing, I wouldn't rate any Fox news coverage. And I damn sure wouldn't rate a phone call from President Trump. What is it about her that has vaulted her to a front and center position?

Yep, that was my first thought: DEFLECTION away from more important things that are national newsworthy. Under normal circumstances this affair, as tragic as it is, wouldn't make my list of top 100 things to worry about.

If past experience is an indicator, it's a distraction from what the scum in D.C. are doing behind the scenes to oppress everyone else.
