As Ayn Rand would've stated...
If Ayn Rand were alive during the most recent presidential election, I believe she would've stated the following:
"They don't want to win, they want you to lose".
What say you?
"They don't want to win, they want you to lose".
What say you?
A few weeks ago I finished reading "Mao: The Unknown Story" by Jung Chang and though an American Mao hasn't shown up in the public eye, the useful idiot mob willing to mass murder on his/her behalf is forming before our eyes. This true story makes Orwell's imagination look like a sweet dream. I highly recommend reading it.
What would she say? Usually it was something that nobody was expecting.
But she would have described it as "angling for power". And "not particularly to do what the voters want, but for themselves, and the systems that keep you enslaved"...
Closing with something along the lines of: "As long as the can get the voters to wait in line to cast votes for such scoundrels, the elites are winning... They only lose when the majority refuse to have any of it, and go on Strike, or leave and create their own Gulch"
And then she thinks she has a story idea about everyone going on strike...
